I often wonder how my life would play out in a movie. The characters, the drama, the laughs, and what parts the screenplay writer would chose to highlight...and remove. The funny part is, I really do think my life would be pretty interesting as a feature film. That is, if Gabrielle Union was in the starring role.
I've always loved Gabrielle. She had me laughing in Bring It On and continues to keep me going with every movie she's in. I loved that she was in one of my favorite shows, the now defuct Flash Forward and I even follow her on Twitter. My husband even says that we look alike in certain ways. I mean, besides her being beautiful, and tall, and fit, I guess I could see it. Ahem. Maybe not.
But it would be so cool to have her play me. I just love her style of being so confident, but approachable; something I hope to be like someday. She's overcome some hardships in life(check out her story on wikipedia) and I think she'd be able to relate to me and my story. She'd put real passion into it. She'd make it seem thought provoking, lovely, and heart felt. She'd show the me that I never really see but others claim to. She'd help me see myself in a different light.
That pipe dream will never come to be, but in my ultimate daydream, I do see Gabrielle as me. And, since we're dreaming, I see Will Smith playing the role of my husband. Yup, that would be the sexy cherry on top. Ah, don't you love using your imagination?
